The Importance of Posture
What is the importance of posture? Well posture is very important – it is an indication of health! Good posture indicates that the spine and nervous system is healthy and functioning properly. Poor posture is often perpetuated by long hours of sitting. It destroys essential curves in the spine, causes muscle imbalances, alters disc & joint position and interrupts nerve communication. All of these negative changes brought on by poor posture are components of a spinal misalignments. Chiropractors adjust the spine and restore normal movement and function.
The accumulation of sitting day in day out, year over year is that your spine, and therefore your nerves and brain degenerate at an accelerated rate. The tragedy in all of this is it is completely preventable with proper chiropractic care. Completely preventable!
