What do Chiropractors do?
Chiropractors check the movement and alignment of your spine. Problems with the alignment of your spine can cause pain, pinched nerves, sciatica and headaches. When Chiropractors find these dysfunctional areas in the spine we call them vertebral subluxations.
Chiropractors describe the way that they correct vertebral subluxations as “spinal adjustments”. Chiropractors will touch and feel your spine, move it around and test some of your muscles to carefully choose specific areas of the spine to adjust.
A spinal adjustment he
lps to restore normal function to the spine and positively impacts the nervous system that travels within the spine. You may hear popping sounds during an adjustment, those sounds are air escaping from your spinal joints as they are moved.
As a Chiropractor, having taken care of hundreds of patients with a wide variety of complaints, I am often amazed at the incredible changes that many patients experience, and how quickly these changes can occur when patients start to receive chiropractic care.
